‘ENGINEERING’: NO GENDER FOR TWIN-SISTERS…

INDEED, gone are the days, were a kitchen used to be a place for girls, despite it been crucial in breaking the existing stereotype of women in science, engineering and technology, but they have proved it possible for them regardless of their sex.

In most cases, its difficult to penetrate this sector for most women with little knowledge of available possibilities. What seems to be missing are good role models that could act as inspiration and source of information and guidance, and offer a glimpse into the reality of being a female employed in the field of science or technology.

In high school, Wanda and Wendy enjoyed every part of it. They shared everything together just like always. They both graduated with distinctions and of course similar grades in all subjects. The duo took up the step to go and study Mechanical Technology in the field of Engineering. The course which mostly was considered to be for men and not women.
