Its main objective is to provide academic and co-curricular services to pupils. In which the currently the school has a total of 69 teachers of which 35 are males and the other 34 are females.

On the other hand, the school has 18 non-teaching staff workers of which 10 are employed by the P.T.A while the remaining eight are under G.R.Z payroll.

The school has a total of 1,100 pupils’ altogether of which 903 are boarders while 197 pupils account for day schooling. Besides, 554 are boys and 546 girls in terms of gender.

Orphaned and vulnerable children are accommodated as well, although very few are in boarding section. The majority of them are day scholars, so that when they don’t pay school fees, the operation is not affected.

There are 16 classrooms with five specialized rooms and these are three science labs, home economic and technical drawing, to be used only during practical lessons.

Unfortunately, all these rooms are being used by the pupils at all times due to lack of teaching classrooms. To make matters worse, the school has a very high demand in terms of school places due to its proximity to Lusaka and Kabwe, as it is the only boarding school servicing the area between Kabwe and Lusaka and also the surrounding areas.

The school is facing a lot of challenges in which the main are both boys and girls’ dormitories, lack of classrooms for learning process, teachers’ houses to meet the demand and library.

Others includes proper computer rooms, school hall, negative towards payment of school fees by some parents, wall fence around the school which allows a lot of environments, intrusive, vandalism and out of bounds.

The Head Teacher also thanked the former pupils to have remembered where they came from and contributing something to mitigate some of the problems the school is facing, as well as impacting knowledge to young ones.
