ITS in our hand as Twins Plus Foundation to tell the young generation that our founding father, the first president of Zambia, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda is not only our hero or someone who struggled during difficult times for peace Zambian are enjoying today.

But he’s father of fraternal twins (boy-girl), Kambarange Mpundu Kaunda and Cheswa Kaunda Silwezya. We have a part as well to play in ensuring that our Tata’s memory never fades while his alive.

Tata, we salute you by us twins in Zambia and the world at large, even though, we were not there during that time of struggle, nevertheless, history bikes you and your friends that you didn't design to peruse for your personal gains.

That's why today, we rewrite to appreciate you not when you are no more. Since dead people receive more flowers than the living because regret is stronger than gratitude.

Therefore, Tata we seek the flowers of blessings from you. Perhaps, you were meant to be the president indeed, many have forgotten away your service you rendered to the (us) people.

Though public information is more important than the people who are in POWER. But Tata you have probably unwittingly and illustrated the purpose and commitment to the leadership.

You never lost your conviction to fight for the freedom we endure today, whose power tend to forget by many people. You are not unsung hero; we still count you as our father of the nation.

Tata, you assumed power at the age of 27 and rule for 27 years. Anyway that should not take away from the fact we had greatest of you in our midst and derived from serving the people of the mother land.

You saved in many capacities, often in public and in the background, even helping the country to be known worldwide which we see resources and refuge from power.

Like his, many from the humble beginnings have in them that greatest that is often brought to the fore by great adversity. But it always need to be like that.

Thank you Tata KK, comrade, grandpa and all the names we can call you, for making us believe in our nation again via that freedom. True son of the soul. Long life and God bless you.

CHIBOMBO BOARDING SECONDARY SCHOOL

THE school was built in 1986 to create for a population of 360 pupils, but today the pupils population has risen to 1,100 with same structures. PUPILS at Chibombo High School Its main objective is to provide academic and co-curricular services to pupils. In which the currently the school has a total of 69 teachers of which 35 are males and the other 34 are females. On the other hand, the school has 18 non-teaching staff workers of which 10 are employed by the P.T.A while the remaining eight are under G.R.Z payroll. The school has a total of 1,100 pupils’ altogether of which 903 are boarders while 197 pupils account for day schooling. Besides, 554 are boys and 546 girls in terms of gender.    Orphaned and vulnerable children are accommodated as well, although very few are in boarding section. By WALUSUNGU SILWEYA Lusaka. THE Zambia Basketball Association (ZBA) has moved today’s tournament from National Sports Development Centre (NASDEC) to Olympic Youths Development Centre (OYDC) due to power and water crisis. ZBA general secretary Mwemba Kaoma confirmed the development yesterday saying the tournament will start around 15:00 hours and 18:00 hours, women and men respectively. Kaoma said Zambia Basketball Association (ZBA) National Championship Finals tournament will also give the technical bench a hint of what to expect for year’s zone six.
